Sustainable Leather Goods Treasured for a Lifetime
Full-Grain leather fly fishing wallet lined with sheepskin. Wool beautifully holds the flies, whilst being easy to remove as needed.
Handcrafted and custom laser engraved right here in NZ
Pre-orders: If preorders are available, this means we are fully book for at least 2 weeks. Expect 2-4 week wait for all preorders.
All clasps are now strong magnetic clasps. There are two options for their position, please see product pictures of these:
1) External Loop Clasp - magnet positioned on a clasp that wraps around externally. Internal sheepskin shape will be altered to rectangular as don't need to avoid magnets with this option.
2) Internal magnets - 2 magnets face each other directly on the inside, no loop on the outside
All our fly wallets go through a natural finishing process using oils and beeswax. As an extra protective layer, we apply another water resistant beeswax layer using Stagworx Leather Water Resist.
This beeswax layer helps water and drops run off your fly case. Natural leather will never be fully water resistant however - do expect some water staining and marks to the piece over time. This will add character to your fly wallet with use.
We recommend regular use of Stagworx Leather Balm every 3-6 months to protect leather from drying and cracking, and repeated application of Stagworx Leather Water Resist as needed.
I make all products to order so everything can be customized.
Image selection: I can engrave any image seen on my site. If the design you want isn't on this listing, go to "Design Selection" product listing to see what we can engrave. Make a note with your order if you like any of these. There are many more images out there, please get in touch if you have other ideas.
If you have something else in mind, please email info@stagworxleather.co.nz. Please don't purchase a leather piece before this in case I am unable to engrave your design.
Layout Customisation: Like the designs listed here but would like a different layout? Simply upload a sketch at checkout or put a note with your order.
I specialize in custom made to order goods.
As such, please expect up to 2 week wait times for your goods to be handmade and engraved
We back the quality of our work and materials used.
We expect full-grain leather to last a very long time if well cared for and conditioned with a leather conditioner regularly.
Should the stitching fail in the first five years, simply return to us for free repair.
If the stitching fails after this point, we will repair for a small fee.

Leather Artisan
I'm Sarah, founder and owner of Stagworx leather. Nestled away on a small farm near Whanganui, New Zealand, I have a long lasting love of natural, quality goods. I design and make my leather pieces with practicality in mind. They're made to last, withstand the elements, and maintain a personal touch. Check out my store, or get in touch today if you have a special leather piece you would like made.
With a passion for natural materials, we create high quality leather goods to last a lifetime.
Each Stagworx piece is made from 100% full-grain leather that goes through an all natural vegetable-tanning process using tree bark and other organic materials.
The result? High quality leather that is biodegradable, and doesn't harm the environment during it's creation. No chemicals. No acids. No Chromium.
Every leather piece that requires stitching, is hand saddle stitched with linen thread. We choose this method over machine stitching, as we know saddle stitches last longer and are more reliable. At Stagworx Leather we value quality over speed.
Once crafted, all our leather goods are finished using natural oils and beeswax. As a result, our goods each have a unique look, that will age beautifully.
Why choose Stagworx Leather goods?
From nature. Returned to nature. With a lifetime of use in between.
Our Five Year Stitching Guarantee:
We back the quality of our materials and work.
Every piece that leaves our workshop is covered by our five year stitching warranty. Our guarantee covers any faults in the stitching of our products, when used under normal conditions.
The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear, or wearing out over time.
If there is a failure in the stitching in the first 5 years, simply return to us for re-stitching free of charge.
All our goods can be repaired for a small fee at any time in their life. Full-grain leather can last a lifetime if conditioned regularly and cared for. We do not expect any issues with the leather. And stitching can always be re-done if ever needed.
They really are designed to last a lifetime!
